Now in Mageia 2 i have 3 dictionaries installed,
aspell-en-7.1.0-2.mga2
aspell-el-0.50.3-15.mga2
aspell-fr-0.50.3-19.mga2

but in the dictionaries list there are 31. 22 variants of English, 6 variants
of French, two variants of Greek and Hebrew.

As the list is very long it is not comfortable to choose every time between 31
variants.
I would like to keep only three of them (English, French, Greek)

I did nt have this huge list in Mageia 1.

I noticed something similar with Thunderbird (GNOME). I guess I will have to
manually remove them.

Yes, i cannot find out how to do it !

I didn't have time yet to check how Mageia handles this. Mandriva used to have
separate packages for each language. So, if Mageia kept the languages separate
by packages, all you need to do is remove the packages for the unwanted
languages.

Alejandro.
