So is there still a problem? Is the problem that Angelo's fixes didn't
make it into mga2?
Angelo's fixes made the color much better. The print was still slightly
darker but usable. Print quality has gradually decreased since then and
is beyond my technical capability or desire to correct. It is time to
get a new printer. My printer is not on this list:

I was simply asking for a recommendation on an HP printer that users
have found worked well in Mageia.

P.S. I want to thank everyone for their help in trying to fix my
printer. However it has been a problem ever since I switched to mageia
and it is time to move on to a new one.
