Hi, I'm relatively new to imagemagick so sorry if this question sounds stupid to you. I tried to search for an answer on the internet but couldn't get a good answer to this question: How can I get the colours from an image? I'm trying to create a color palette generator based on an image such as here: http://www.degraeve.com/color-palette/
I know I can reduce the number of colors to six or so, but I don't know how to extract the colors so I can save them in a text file. Is there a command to do this? It has to be a command line option because I want to do it in batch mode. Maybe if IM can't do it: does anybody know another method? Thanx in advance.
