Prehaps you can check the html2ps manual for improvements, or their web
site!

Differnt browsers display pages differently,  htmp2ps is not designed
to make pages look good, just good enough to print, and read.  Most
image tags are probably ignored.

Thier was a method of grabing images of the top of html pages using an
actual web browser (firefox) on a LINUX machine, using a VNC X server,
so you don't have to watch it work.

No gurantees, I have not tried it myself

It should however let you grab images as they appear on a full browser.
