I'm a little puzzled by other messages here referring to converting EMF
files. I have one and I can't convert it to anything:

ERROR: meta.c (179): wmf_header_read: this isn't a wmf file
convert: Delegate failed `"wmf2eps" -o "%o" "%i"'.

OK, so if it's not an EMF file, what is it? I extracted it as a B64 chunk from the <w:binData> depths of a Word document saved-as XML, where it was called 030002.wmz. I stuck it in a file, ran base64 -d on it and got the EMZ file, which I gunzipped, which is supposed to give me an EMF file. Emacs hexl-mode says:

00000000: 0100 0000 6c00 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 ....l...........
00000010: cb01 0000 1a01 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 ................
00000020: 0838 0000 6d22 0000 2045 4d46 0000 0100 .8..m".. EMF....
00000030: 08f3 0700 0300 0000 0100 0000 0000 0000 ................

Is that stuff before EMF supposed to be there?
