Hi there, I was trying to visualize a simple pgm file. Since most viewer could not handle pgm, I tried converting it to png, but I had to kill convert after a couple minutes. Even the 'identify' unix command line utility is running for ever. Could someone please : 1. look into this issue (confirm that it is still present in recent imagemagick release) 2. let me know of a way to convert this pgm into something 'viewable'.
The pgm file was created from a Lossless JPEG 12bits image, using the djpeg from the IJG+lossles patch (the library was compiled with the proper modification to allow processing of 12bits jpeg images too).
