| hello,
|
| I'm trying to resize and crop a large number of pictures on the windows p=
| latform. For this I want to resize the pictures first with a minimum imag=
| e size limit (e.g. with the new "^" flag).
| This option does however not work for me (ImageMagick-6.3.9-Q16 on the Wi=
| ndows xp platform):
|
| convert logo: -thumbnail 300x300^ imlogo.jpg
|
| produces a 300x225 jpeg; and not the expected 400x300.
| Am I doing something wrong here, or does the feature not work ?

The '^' may be a special character within DOS Batch scripts.
You may need to figure out how to escape it.

To start I would put quotes around the argument, to see if that fixes
it. Let me know if that works (I am not a windows user, but need to
mention it in the IM Exampels, API notes for windows.
