Hi

 > I have to create a pyramid tiff file

We can reproduce the problem and will have a fix it in ImageMagick 6.3.9-10
Beta within a day or two. Thanks.

I have built im 6.4.0-0 in Mac OS X and now the bug is resolved (thanx)

% convert /externalimage/hr/imagehr.tif ptif:/work/immpt/imagehrnew.tif[128x128]

I have not errors (very good)

but there is another problem.

The tile size 128x128 of new image (eg: imagehrnew.tif[128x128]) is not created.

The new image is ptif but without tile size 128x128+0+0 or other size.

I have tested many source images (jpeg, tif, png) and the output is the same: a ptif file without tile size geometry.

I use identify utility:

% identify -verbose /work/immpt/imagehrnew.tif

I have a ptif file for reference (not created in imagemagick) and the differences between 2 files are in one row.

PTFILE correct with tile size (created outside im)
...
  Rendering intent: Undefined
  Tile geometry: 128x128+0+0
  Interlace: None
...

PTFILE created inside im 6.4.0-0
...
  Rendering intent: Undefined
  Interlace: None
...

Question.

Is it possible to create a ptif file with tile geometry size using "convert" utility or no ?

Thanks in advance.

IM is a great product.
