No you do not. You need to see gs in your list of delegates from your 
convert -list configure and what you showed is the following:

DELEGATES     bzlib freetype jpeg jp2 lcms png tiff x11 xml wmf zlib

and I don't see gs in that list!




But i already have ghost script. see my convert -list delegate output. it is
indeed detecting ghost.
