salut Pierre & other Magick people, TCPDF seems to work quite fine, thanks.
Just for curiosity and learning, other people on the list suggested me to use +matte (I'm using old versions of IM, 6.2.8). It causes my PNG to become black/white (docs say: " it just turns off the transparency channel; saving the image with the transparency data turned off, will not save any transparency data to the image file format, and that data will be lost"). I'm not sure if it's possible to "visually" keep the original PNG (with colors) but without alpha channel (transparency)... best regards, Pere 2008/12/12 Pierre-Yves Landuré <[email protected]> > Hi, > > This is not related to imagemagick, but take a look at TCPDF : > > http://www.tecnick.com/public/code/cp_dpage.php?aiocp_dp=tcpdf > > It is a successor to FPDF, and it just recently began to support PNG alpha > channel. > > As for the solution with FPDF, i don't really know, but TCPDF can help you > , may be. > > Pierre-Yves Landuré > > pere roca a écrit : > > dear all, >> I have just moved from GD to imagemagick. i was using FPDF to incrustate >> images generated from GD in PDFs but now it doesn't work with >> imagemagick >> ; it complains about alpha channel. >> >> FPDF doesn't support alpha channel.
