Obviously, this is not really a bug, but I should like that convert, in absence of quality option, simply converts jpeg to pdf without any alteration. Because I don't know any other common tool which do this like this. (Pdflatex is not a common tool for most people.) Who can difficult work can easy work, isn't it ?
