probably this bug have yet been pointed out, but i can't find it in archives. With old releases of imagemagick, i had no problem to display or convert pcd format with a command line like $ convert toto.pcd[3] toto.jpg but with last release (Version: ImageMagick 6.5.1-0 2009-08-27 Q16 OpenMP), it results in a (really) ugly green picture. I tried with both linux ubuntu karmic and MSWindow versions of ImageMagick, the result is the same green trash color Moreover, with command line $ convert toto.pcd[5] toto.jpg and $ convert toto.pcd[6] toto.jpg i have this error message : convert: Corrupt PCD image, skipping to sync byte `img0001.pcd' @ pcd.c/DecodeImage/301 In case bug cannot be fixed, can you indicate me where to find old release of ImageMagick ?
