Hi all, i'm new to imagemagick & magicWand ... i need to rescale some photos from camera resolution (typically >3Mpix) to fit in a (small) 272x480 vertical display. My platform is 450Mhz embedded cpu with 128MB ram.
i tried using status=MagickReadImage(magick_wand,name); /*name was a .jpg*/ wResized = MagickTransformImage(magick_wand,"0x0","272x480"); status=MagickWriteImages(wResized,out,MagickTrue); /*out was a .png*/ but it took a lot of time (> 10 seconds) and in some cases i experienced "out of memory" error. what's the *fastest* way to do it ? regards, L. -- *Luca Santini* //Elettronica di Sistema// *SPES.
