I know this is an old thread. But the coordinate picker I use is just
simply "xv"

This is a very old UNIX Xwindows program whcih displays a image,
pressing middle middle button just lists the coordinate and color
at the current mouse location.

However what is needed more than coordinate pickers. are
coordinates relation lists. 'Image registration' is the term usually
used

That is display two images and pair up a coordinate in both images
producing a list of related coordinate pairs.

For example desk_corner in this image with the same desk corner in
that image. being able to zoom in for the final pixle pick on each
image, would be great. Being able to display coordinate pairs, and
delete or adjust previously picked coordinates would be even better.

If the program can 'lock' onto some specific color change
aspect (like a point, or corner) to make a more precise relation
all the better, though this should be able to be turned off if it
interfers with the users selection.

| Save Coordinates....If you have access to php, you can use this script to
show image size, color and coordinates. You need a file called Coordinates.txt
to save those numbers too (and delete numbers from). You can test it here. If
you do not have php, you can use this file on my site.
