I've been looking into this some more. I've tried to feed the Mahara RSS feeds (http://mahara.midkent.ac.uk/artefact/blog/atom.php?artefact=30&view=138) into both magpie and simplepie and they don't want to work. With simplepie I just get a blank page.
If I copy the generated xml to a local file and then feed it into simplepie it works as expected. Also if I put the feed into feedburner and then use the feedburner generated xml feed if works (http://feeds.feedburner.com/RosieDouglassBlog?format=xml). So its looking like there might be a problem with the Mahara generated feeds -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Mahara Contributors, which is subscribed to Mahara. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/731824 Title: Mahara forum RSS feeds not correct when in a moodle block Status in Mahara ePortfolio: Invalid Bug description: I have forum in Mahara with an rss feed: http://mahara.midkent.ac.uk/interaction/forum/atom.php?type=g&id=10 When viewing the feed in a web browser or via a feed reader like tint RSS or google ireader it works as expected with the news title directing to the site when clicked on. However if I add the feed into an RSS block in Moodle when the titles are clicked they go to the root of the Moodle site and not through to Mahara. Other RSS feeds work as expected. Additionally is possible it would be good for these links to be able to automatically sign a user into Mahara when clicked. I am running Mahara 1.3.3 See this forum thread: http://mahara.org/interaction/forum/topic.php?id=2948 _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~mahara-contributors Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~mahara-contributors More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
