I have tested this on ios 10( Iphone 6s mobile device) and on ios 9.3.2
( Ipad safari browser). The videos are playing and I can hear the audio
too. Cannot reproduce it on both the devices.
Tested it on mahara demo site.

Retract block feature breaks embedded youtube videos on iOS

iPad
To replicate:
We added 6 youtube videos to a Mahara page - and set the blocks to be
retractable.
The videos on iOS played back the audio but not the video, and then
randomly worked.
On android, windows and OSX all browsers worked.
We edited the blocks and un-checked retractable.
The videos on the page then worked on iOS as well.
