This is a wishlist item.
I am reporting this on behalf of many students that I have received
feedback from who find editing the layout in Mahara frustrating. Below
is an excerpt from an email I received from a student that does a good
job of describing what I have heard from many students re: editing the
layout of a page.
"Basically all my issues arose from the Edit Layout portion of the site.
It’s incredibly difficult to get an idea for how you want to arrange the
info when you have to go to a different page and create a new layout
every time you want something changed. Personally, I feel that a “modify
existing layout” button would be super helpful, and if that could be
added somewhere to the page that you’re working on (instead of another
tab) then that would be even better."
