Hi Nitin, Can you please provide more information? In what type of content block are the images? Are they 'Image' blocks or are the images embedded in 'Text' or 'Note' blocks?
Image block references are updated automatically. However, images that are embedded in 'Text' or 'Note' blocks retain their original references as these are just URLs at the end of the day when the export happens. Therefore, when you import them, they still point to the old URL. Now, we do have a tool to correct embedded image URLs when you migrate a site, i.e. change the domains because in that case all the artefact IDs stay the same and we can programmatically update the URLs. However, when you do an import, the artefact IDs change. Therefore, an update of the domain is not going to help because the artefact IDs are still the old ones and might now point to artefacts by other people to which you don't have access. There is nothing we can do in that case because of how the images were added into the text and 'proper' image blocks weren't used. The only solution I see is that you set up your new site with all content from the old site, i.e. migrate to a new domain, then change the embedded URLs via the tool in Admin menu -> Development -> Embedded URLs and then delete the accounts that you don't want to keep. The advantage of that approach is that you keep all sharing permissions for portfolios shared with account holders, you keep your groups, friend relationships etc. that don't come along in the Leap2A exports. But unfortunately, images within portfolios are not loading to the new Mahara site. After inspecting the element it shows the image links are going to the old domain.
