Hi
I am discussing with my self whether I should do an implementation of an option which gives the user the opportunity to remove the main window message viewer(preview viewer) or not, So I thought, that you guys would have an opinion about this. I looked through the preferences window, and couldnt find anything like this, so I assume its not there. The reason I would like this option is that I prefer the message to be shown in a window of its own, therefore there is no need for the main window viewer to take up the space. Also, I prefer not to have the messages automatically previewed, so I thought these two features could be combined into one, which removes the preview pane in the main window and turns of auto-previewing. Of course one could allways do this by manually minimizing the viewer pane, and turning off the option to auto-preview. But here is where I am having difficulties deciding. Should I just leave it as is, and take on the extra "burden" of configuring this manually or should it be a one click option. There is one important reason why I think this should be done, and that is that users generally like to set things their own way, and therefore a lot of other applications have this as an option (but they usually refer to it as something like "pane organisation" which is among the initial setup choices the user performs). Another reason is that I dont think something like this should be statically set in M, considering the myriads of other options that can be set in M Any opinions? -- Thomas Finneid email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ Mahogany-Developers mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/mahogany-developers
