While I was transitioning from WinXP to Linux, I kept my message folders
in a FAT32 partition accessible to both.

I had to keep separate config files since the two versions didn't support
all the same profile values.  If all your access will be from the same
version of Mahogany you can even share that with the --config option.
If you already have started with your configuration in the registry,
I wrote a Perl script that can extract it to a config file:
