FYI only, I suspect :-).

The cursor insert on both 0.64.1 and 0.64.2 under NT4sp6
behaves differently to other applications(*).

M pushes the cursor to the left of a character, whilst M$ apps
push it to the nearest edge. This is most noticible when double
clicking to select a word - try selecting the word 'a' back there:
the I-beam has to be quite a way to the right of the 'a' for it to
work: having the cursor over the 'a' doesn't hack it.

This means that M seems different (reaction -> "wrong") on
Windows. Don't know if there's anything you can do about it,
it's probably a Wx-windows issue. It's only important if
(a) you can fix it; (b) you care about how Windows users feel
about the quality of your product; (c) you're as picky about
writing good software as I am :-)

Best wishes,
  Jerry

(*) can you tell I am a UI specialist. Picky or what :-)
