Hi, I've recently started [really] using the identities and I quickly realized how inconvenient they are :-/ First of all, there is no way to associate an identity with a folder which is, nevertheless, something I want to do all the time. So I'm going to add an identity combobox to the "Identity" page allowing to do this. If a non-default identity is chosen, it will be used for composing all the messages when this folder is current.
There is another question: which priority should the identity settings have? There are 3 places to look for the options: 1. folder settings themselves 2. identity settings 3. parent folder settings (recursively) Mahogany currently uses them in this order, does it seem logical or should we exchange 1 and 2 (or do something even stranger)? Finally, I'm also going to add a "Copy" command to the identities menu to make creating new identities simpler. Any other issues related to the identities I should be looking at while I work on this?
