 Oh no... You're never going to have to choose among 19000 mailing lists,
for once (serious problem #1: folders can be stored in config, newsgroups
can't). You can delete mails from your mailing lists folders but you can
only mark them as read in news ones (problem #2: different UI). And it's
just a start.

 You really can't treat news as mail -- unfortunately. In fact, the
"protocol adapters" part already works pretty well, you can access NNTP
servers just fine. It's just unusable for anybody used to a decent news
client.
