Apologies for the late reply but now that Robert's fix has sorted out random duplication / deletion of messages, I'm going through Popfile's copy of messages to see what I missed.

All my folders are MBX folder (best) 2. where do you search for this word (what have you chosen in the combobox in the search dialog)? 3. does it happen if you search in subject/from/body/... or only for some specific choices? OK. Let's assume M-Dev is the currently active folder onscreen. We go to Folder Search and get the combo box. Always 'not containing' is not checked. I insert RPM in the dropdown box and select Message Header. Folders is set to M Developers. Press OK. Get progress box - 6 messages found. Box goes away, active message does not have RPM anywhere in it and I see no way to select any of these "6 messages" I go back to Folder search, change only to Full message, hit OK, get assert: /src/gui/wxMainFrame.cpp(535): assert "0" failed: got search result for a search we hadn't even started? Perhaps you explain how you do the same search and what you see on screen / how you select different search result?
