           Summary: Email dropped during filtering
           Product: Mahogany
           Version: 0.65
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: NEW
          Severity: major
          Priority: P3
         Component: Filters/autocollect
        AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I received a message with a large binary attachment (1-1.5 MB) this morning that
disappeared during filtering while getting new mail from my POP3 server.
Message was easily visible in progress dialog (the 'filtering' and 'moving to
folder' test was readable while in progress) and its filtering action (move to
designated folder) was there in the Activity log window. Message was part of
about 60 emails downloaded during the session.

Afterward, the message had simply disappeared. It didn't show up in the
destination folder (I've been using this same filter rule unchanged for > 1 yr
now), there was no disk space issue, and it didn't show up in any other folders,
either. Just a hint of its transient existence in the activity log (no, I
didn't save that, didn't think it'd be much use.)

I haven't seen this behavior before, but now know to look for it... a repeatable
test case is going to be rather difficult to set up unless it turns into a
frequent occurrence.
