i've worked past my issues with WXUNUSED_UNLESS_DEBUG by the expedient of
commenting out the debugging references (mostly ASSERTS) immediately
following the appearance of WXUNUSED_UNLESS_DEBUG. this is hardly a long
term solution, but it let me get M built from cvs.
i presume i need a newer/different version of g++, i'm running 3.2-7, the
normal one for Redhat 8.0
now, the next question i have is what flag do i need to give to get it to
statically link with wxWindows?
