Summary: SSL causes fatal bug for messages over 36KB
Product: Mahogany
Version: 0.65
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Windows XP
Status: NEW
Severity: critical
Priority: P3
Component: General mailbox&news access
AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
New mail in my IMAP mail box, which is greater than around 36KB, causes
Mahogany to crash. For me, emails of this size are always emails with
attachments and trying to download the attachment or transfer the message to
my local inbox causes the application to crash. When SSL is turned off, the
problem disappears.
Also, when downloading a big attachment, the error occurs after about 36KB
have been downloaded (judging by the progress bar.) My suspicion is that
something is going wrong after transferring 36767 bytes. Just a hunch.
