 Yes, indeed, but it's less (but not to say "not") useful in a mail client.

 It's not what I'm missing the most but I guess this would be useful.
Implementing the first feature might be a bit tricky though. Did you
already think about it? I can only think of using a virtual folder for
display but then the problem is that you need to select either a real
MailFolder or a VFolder for the FolderView depending on some option value.
Not impossible, of course, but will surely require some modifications to
the code.
