It's still not clear why it doesn't work for you -- I've just tested the
treectrl wxWindows sample under Debian and it ("Item|Make bold" menu command)
works just fine there. Does this work for you? If not, why?
I'd really prefer to fix this rather than disabling it as it is nice to have
the currently opened folder in bold font -- otherwise I'm sometimes confused
in which folder I am and now a quick glance at folder tree is enough to see
it.
