yes, I would like that Generally, the mail tree is like a file system tree. Most operations ar very similar if not identical. We are simply missing the links... GM> I just tried: Created an Folder "Search results", GM> after the search copied the selected messages there GM> worked on them GM> deleted them I tried this already, too. That's a first step. But since I'm using an imap server at home (which has some advantages), this becomes a somewhat slow operation. GM> !! However, the current message stays selected after a search as well should be changed, I think. When searching in a text editor you also get a new selection with the old one deselected (ok, normally you get just one of them, so that's naturally). GM> Maybe the workaround with a real folder is easier to implement and GM> could GM> save us a lot of hazzle while waiting for a proper solution... But you want to be able to treat the items in the search results, e.g. you may want to delete them or to move them. A copy would not allow that. So I think we really need a kind of "links". _______________________________________________ Mahogany-Users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/mahogany-users
