Was Weka's ARFF insufficient? Please see
http://weka.sourceforge.net/wekadoc/index.php/en:ARFF_(3.5.1) . Just a
suggestion from a potential Mahout user, but ARFF is a de-facto standard in
some ML circles, and being able to move from Weka or Rapidminer to Mahout and
back, depending on the scale, would be highly advantageous.
