Looks like the Netflix data set is no longer officially available, and has been disappearing from the internet. Too bad, since I wrote up Chapter 6 of the book on Netflix. But, not the end of the world.
Anyone have a favorite data set they'd be interested in seeing written up in the context of distributed recommendations? It should have at least 100M ratings. I know of some but thought I'd solicit suggestions. Sean
