Folks, WPAA has been working very hard to get in touch with you through emails, mailing-list and even phone calls in some cases, just to remind you that you please send in your membership fee. Not only that, we do expect a generous contribution from you since you are the heart and soul of WPAA. In fact, YOU ARE WPAA !
The ongoing poll at WPAA web site brings out some reasons why some of us are not able to send in the payment. Though, the nos. of responses so far is way too small to reach any conclusions, it sure does not hurt to address what is already highlighted. Here are the main reasons why WPAA members do not send in their fee and/or contribution and their possible resolution: 1)You do not know how to send it - 29.41% votes Well, that is easy to fix. Please visit http://wpaa.org/ and click on 'Membership Fee' to get the complete information. If you do not have web access or have a painfully slow connection, here are the details: Make your checks payable to: Worldwide Pantnagar Alumni Association And send them to: a) if sending your payment in Indian Rupees: Mr Joseph Dolphin Representative, WPAA Flat 77 Pocket A3 Sector 8 Rohini Delhi, Delhi - 110085 India b) if sending your payment in US Dollars: Mr Girish Solanki Treasurer, WPAA 7811 Chambers Rd #135 San Antonio, Texas - 78229 USA 2) You are waiting for web based payment option at WPAA site - 23.53% votes Good news ! Your wait is going to be over soon. Within a week or two, we will have an option of accepting credit cards on WPAA web site. Stay tuned for the latest. 3) You do not think there should be any fee at all - 11.76% votes An issue that has been discussed at length and put to rest long back. Again, without the fee, it is almost impossible for WPAA to survive and flourish. - You are too lazy to mail the cheque - 5.88% votes An issue that only YOU can fix ! Hopefully, option (2) above when implemented can come to your rescue :-) That's it. Surprisingly, we have 29.41% votes who claim to have already sent in their membership fee ! Hmmm, somehow our records show that we have received only a few payments so far.
