I am from 92-96 batch (agriculture) and working with Society for
Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP).
SERP, a registered autonomous society, is implementing an innovative
participatory five-year project, the District Poverty Initiatives
Project
(DPIP) (Velugu) [2000-05] in 6 select districts of Andhra Pradesh,
viz., Srikakulam. Vizianagaram, Adilabad, Mahabubnagar, Ananthapur and
Chittoor under the Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of
Andhra Pradesh.
DPIP's main objective is to improve opportunities for the rural poor to
meet their priority social and economic needs in these districts, so as
to eradicate poverty and eliminate current inequalities that prevent
the members of some groups from realizing their full potential.
SERP is also planning to extend it�s activities in 16 other districts
of Andhra Pradesh through World Bank supported programme � AP Rural
Poverty Reduction Programme.
The work before us is mammoth and to achieve the objective, we requires
human resources in different capacities at different levels, full time
or part time or on consultancy basis.
We are also looking for senior people, especially from Agriculture and
Veterinary, our livelihood interventions for rural poor.

Friends,
I am in a garment care industry and we need a replacement for a costly
material we use for tagging garments before they are put to wash or dry
clean cycles. This material is imported from USA and is costing us the
earth. The specs are as follows:
Thermoseal tape roll, 1/4"(6mm) x 120'(36.5 mtr)
Probably made of some reinforced fabric coated with thermoplastic glue.
The operation involves the identity no being imprinted on the ribbon /
tape and it is stuck on the garment pressing it against a hot iron at
170 deg celsius.

kindly revert at the earliest. Our consumption is 15 - 20 tape rolls
per
day.
