Folks,
I was just talking to a few of my alumni friends about WPAA and I realized that even
though they were familiar with WPAA and its objectives, they still had lots of
questions and didn't know where to look for the answers. Interestingly enough, most of
the answers to their questions were available at WPAA website - all they needed to do
was visit it.
I was able to answer all their questions about WPAA (hopefully to their satisfaction
:-) but I think there are still many of you out there having similar questions, still
waiting for the answers. Instead of replying to each of you individually, I am writing
this 'Did You Know...' document, hoping to provide answers to most of your questions.

Did you know that:
*** WPAA provides you the daily India, World and _Pantnagar_ news !!! Yes, you can get
your daily dose of Pantnagar (actually, it is Udham Singh Nagar) news right here at
WPAA website.
*** You can submit your payments (fee and contributions) via PayPal in USD, CAD, Euro,
Pound Sterling and Yen. (Whatever currency you choose, make sure it is equivalent to
USD 12).
*** You can check for yourself if your payment has been received by WPAA. Simply log
in and visit 'Edit Account' link. You should see the date of receipt and a big 'Thank
You !' in place of fee (or contribution) if we have received your payment.
*** You can send an email to any of your faculty members via 'Contact GBPUAT' link.
You can also use this link to get answers to some of the common questions like:
- I will be visiting Pantnagar shortly and would like to make reservations for the
Guest House. Who should I contact ?
- I am trying to get copies of my transcript from Pantnagar. what should I do?
*** Resources link at WPAA website can be used to share with the community the
vendors, agents, associations, websites, books or whatever you like. Sweet or sour,
your experience can benefit others especially if you 'add comments' and/or 'rate' your
resource.
*** WPAA was formed in 2000 and as of today, there are 1278 members from 41 countries.
- India tops the list with 858 members, followed by USA (149) and Canada (22).
- College of Technology tops the list with 836 members, followed by College of
Agriculture (240) and CBSH (65).
*** FAQ contains answers to almost all of your 'Frequently Asked Questions'. please do
not forget to visit this link before you fire off your questions to website
administrator.
