I am attaching the statistics for college for technology Pantnagar 2004 Passouts who have qualified in GATE 2004. Good news is that PANTAGAR ENGINEERING graduates have
qualified well enough to be in good statistics of GATE but still the PANTNAGARIANS have to take GATE seriously, which at least assures them a Job security for two years.

Dear Friends,
Its Vibhu jain,i would like to share three pleasent incident with you which happened with me in past, and i would like to hear such incidence from your side also,as sometimes i feel that this weekly daak should not only be a way to get informations,it should have some exciting articles too,so that we can wait for this weekly daak routinly. these time i have three incident of meeting some people from Pantnagar in life
1.Once my friend Amin ( MSc Biotech from pantnagar) went to Kiran theatre in Chandigarh, which is only good theatre in Chandigarh, there he saw a guy, both thought that they have seen each other before, and talked with each other and the guy was Rahul ( ABM 2001),after coming back he told me aboput Rahul and after that we are in good contact with each other,Right Rahul,be in touch dear.
2.I was going to Pune for some work,my cigratte case was empty,i was searching a cigratte despiratly in a train boggie and railways stations, suddenly i found that a guy was smoking,i asked him about any cigrate wala in campartment, but he told "yaar koi nahi hai yaha, but if you need cigratt,e take from me,i was hesitating but i took, then he asked,"yaar kahi dekha hai",Tech se to nahi ho? I told him "nahi CBSH se"He was Amit,i think 2000-2001 pass out,was chairman of
Tech society,i dont have his contact address, but he is in army that much I know.So hi Amit if you are alos a luck member of this wekly mail like me,thanx for your cigratte ,come sometime to chandigarh and take party in return of that cigratte.
3. Third incident was meeting with Shoman,( ABM 2000 Batch)i caught him on the road in Lucknow, when i was measuring road there with some friend,he is a good singer and we are known to each other, when he used to do practice of singing in 7th wing of CB1 in his room, used to stop my casette player and enjoyed his gazals a lot,my room was exactly on the top of his room in 8th wing. Sachin Sachin Garg <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> --------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Friends,
With an idea to create some job opportunities for educated rural youth, a programme with acronym REAP (Rural Employment Action Programme) has been recently launched by us at ruralnaukri. Briefly, idea is to pursuade NGOs or private sector organisations to provide employment for one year to graduate plus rural youth without obligation to pay salary. However, an amount of Rs. 1000-1500 need be paid as subsistence allowance. Post one year, employer may recruit at negotiated salary or based on the experience gained the chances of the employee getting a job elsewhere shall improve substantially. This employment, albeit not remunerative shall provide an opportunity to the employee to come out of the trap of no experience-no job. ruralnaukri has created a webpage for registration of employees and employers who would like to participate and we would undertake matchmaking to provide job opportunity to a candidate at nearest location.
We are trying to spread the message among educated youth through NGOs who have reach in interiors. Same NGOs are being asked if they would like to participate themselves.
In case anyone would like to take interest in this as an employer or is in a position to spread the message among potential employees through their field office(s), full details are available at: http://www.ruralnaukri.com/reap.php.
Thanks

hi all,
it was nice to c so many replies to abhisek's mail.tht shows we care for our univ.
but kulsrsthra sir's reply led me to think of this as a classic catch-22 case. if we dont work towards gettinh our juniors palced, they lose oppurtunities.if we work, its breach of officialese! how to solve this problem then?
its not only a case of placements.take for example, our gpa sheets. does our university lacks even the fund to change the gpa sheets to a more presentable form, where we dont have to face such allegations as forgery when we present the gpa sheets for admission r jobs? even third rate institues provide a better score card?
i wonder if we alumni can escalate this issue so tht at some future point of time somebody takes cognizance.
