I've uploaded the Mailman 2.0.5 patch and tarball to SourceForge.

I've tested this on my system and on {python,zope}.org and it seems to
work well. Still, I would love to get some feedback on this specific
patch before making a wider announcement (won't it be great when I
have a unit test suite? :).
Please give it a shot and let me know. If there are no showstoppers,
I will make the announcement on Monday.
