If you mean Python 1.5 instead of 1.5.2 then you might be right.
While both are extremely old, the latter was the gold standard for
about 2 years.
Most stuff that worked under 1.5.2 should work under 2.1 or 2.2. You
may get some deprecation warnings, but MM2.0.8 should be compatible
with any of those, although it has been an admittedly long time since
I ran anything under Python 1.5.2.
