Hi all, I'm Archie Singh, a second year Computer Science engineering undergrad at IIT Jodhpur.
I have generated an MR for the issue #1105 (the leave cmd's address= argument) and the pipeline has passed and I have also added the sender verification to ensure security when unsubscribing target addresses and updated doctests to handle the mail queue state. This is the merge request <https://gitlab.com/mailman/mailman/-/merge_requests/1461> For Google's Summer of Code 2026, reading Dave Wilson's thread from 2021 regarding the difficulty of modifying list entries. I believe building this tool into Postorius while keeping the Core API intact is something I am willing to research and work more on. I am currently drafting my project proposal for the User Profile Tool, which I will be sharing soon in this thread for your kind review (thank you in advance! :)) I would appreciate any feedback on the fix and some suggestions for the user profile tool too!
