Erm...  You _are_ aware that cvs is a tool for managing the source
code and that you will still need to compile manually after using cvs
to get the latest source, right?
hrm... I coulda sword I did a CVS update sorta in-place. Must need to adjust my medication :)

(Well, aside from the minor detail that Mailman is written in python which, AFAIK, doesn't require any
explicit compilation...)
I went ahead and plopped in 2.1.1. For the first time ever installing mailman I had _zero_ problems.
