developing an intranet

Every user can be part of several groups: teams, committees, people that for
some reason have the same rights, etc.

every group can also have a mailing-list.

When changing what groups someone is in, i automatically have the
mailinglists changed accordingly.

Any ideas on how to do that?

Thanks
