Well, if you're going to rebuild mailman, you might want to take a look at how it was built previously (by whomever supplied the package you installed). That way, you can change only the options that you need, like the mail-gid. I have no idea what sort of packaging software is used on OS X though, so I can't tell you much about how you'd do that. Perhaps someone else can help you there. Alternatively, you could just move completely away from the way they install it there by default and build your own to install in /usr/local/mailman. The advantage there would be that you would have a mailman install much more like the stick install and then the docs would be more applicable to you since you wouldn't have to constantly guess "is this how and where things are in panther?" - -- Todd OpenPGP -> KeyID: 0xD654075A | URL: www.pobox.com/~tmz/pgp ====================================================================== Nothing strengthens authority so much as silence. -- Charles De Gaulle -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.3 (GNU/Linux) Comment: When crypto is outlawed bayl bhgynjf jvyy unir cevinpl. iD8DBQE/2d5auv+09NZUB1oRAlj2AJ4+bGP4jnrXAs9y/Fja9ZFUJlg4WQCgwFb3 TAaTHW2zvb1f60ACn/Yq+HY= =4bx/ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------ Mailman-Users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/mailman-users Mailman FAQ: http://www.python.org/cgi-bin/faqw-mm.py Searchable Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/mailman-users%40python.org/ This message was sent to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe or change your options at http://mail.python.org/mailman/options/mailman-users/archive%40jab.org
