Dude, just use your favorite text editor and copy/paste the email into that file. Be sure to squeeze it in between two emails (and not in the middle of one). You'll probably have to munge things a bit then, but if you just look at the other emails around this one in the mbox file, you should be able to figure it out in a snap.
