What I'm talking about is instead of seeing it from me ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) for example, some, but not all of the recipients see it coming from [EMAIL PROTECTED] . I have bounce processing turned off for the list.
The problem is almost certainly because some clients display different addresses for the messages they receive.
The messages do get delivered, and other than confusion, it is working.
The envelope sender address is unchanged, what changes is which client displays what.
