Hi all,

I've seen this error mentioned in the archives, but no answers for dealing with it:

Failure to find group name nobody. Try adding this group
to your system, or re-run configure, providing an
existing group name with the command line option --with-cgi-gid.

This is on FreeBSD 5.2.1, Python 2.3.4, Apache 2.0.49, and Mailman 2.1.5.

I have two different FreeBSD 4.9 servers with Python 2.3.4, Apache 1.3.27, and Mailman 2.1.3 -- the problem doesn't occur there.

If it matters, when I compiled Mailman on the new server, I used --with-cgi-gid=65534 -- so the software was able to determine that 65534 is 'nobody' at that point.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

-Bill
