Actually, assuming there is no problem with the [EMAIL PROTECTED] alias, that doesn't result in unsubscription. It results in an e-mail From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] with Subject: "confirm" followed by a string of 40 hex digits being sent to the subscriber. This confirmation must be responded to by e-mail or by following a link contained in it before the user is unsubscribed.
