We currently maintain mailman 2.0.6 (ancient :-) on our old server. We have recently installed a new server that has mailman 2.1.4 installed. I would like to get some advice on moving our 30 listservs over. The 2 servers are located in the same rack, and are in the same domain.
Some of the questions in my mind is what files we need to migrate. I know that the archives need only be copied, but should I copy the ~mailman/lists/<listname> directories or should we create new lists on the new server, and add the list members et. al. My preference is to migrate only a few lists at the time, but I am also concerned with the list management web pages (eg. <domain>/mailman/listinfo/<listname>). -- Jerry Feldman <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Boston Linux and Unix user group http://www.blu.org PGP key id:C5061EA9 PGP Key fingerprint:053C 73EC 3AC1 5C44 3E14 9245 FB00 3ED5 C506 1EA9
