Today, most distributions use Postfix (http://www.postfix.org/) as the default, but they also include the venerable sendmail (http://www.sendmail.org/) as an option. Qmail (http://www.qmail.org/) is another very popular MTA. You also probably want to chose a Linux distro. Fedora Core 3, SuSE 9.2 Professional, Debian, or GenToo can be used as servers, and there are several enterprise class distros, Red Hat AS 3.0, and SuSE Lenix Enterprise Server 9.0. Mailman also serves very nicely as a list manager on any Linux distro. I think I have answered your question. -- Jerry Feldman <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Boston Linux and Unix user group http://www.blu.org PGP key id:C5061EA9 PGP Key fingerprint:053C 73EC 3AC1 5C44 3E14 9245 FB00 3ED5 C506 1EA9 ------------------------------------------------------ Mailman-Users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/mailman-users Mailman FAQ: http://www.python.org/cgi-bin/faqw-mm.py Searchable Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/mailman-users%40python.org/
