You control your aliases. You should be able to create new aliases that point to Mailman instead of Majordomo.

I'm sure that many people have done it before, but detailed documentation for this is not available so far as I know.


Since this is an open-source project, you could always create detailed documentation to describe how you do it for your site, and then submit that for inclusion in the Mailman manual.
