You haven't given us a whole lot of detail here. Please take a look at <http://www.python.org/cgi-bin/faqw-mm.py?req=show&file=faq01.022.htp>, <http://www.python.org/cgi-bin/faqw-mm.py?req=show&file=faq01.023.htp>, and since you're using MacOS X, you need to also take a look at <http://www.python.org/cgi-bin/faqw-mm.py?req=show&file=faq01.021.htp>.
Don't get me wrong -- I love MacOS X, and use it myself on a daily basis. But I don't try to use Mailman with MacOS X, and if I did, I'd make sure to build my own version from source.
